The Great British Menu
Chefs include previous banquet winner Tommy Banks of the Black Swan at Oldstead, North Yorkshire; last year’s finalist Michael Bremner of 64 Degrees in Brighton; 2016 Welsh regional winner Phil Carmichael of Berners Tavern, London; and first timers Tom Brown of Outlaw’s at the Capital, London and Ellis Barrie of the Marram Grass on Anglesey.
Series 12 of Great British Menu will air on Monday 1st May at 7pm with the chefs battling it out to cook for a banquet in celebration of the 140th anniversary of Wimbledon.
We are extremely proud to announce that our very own Head Chef, Joery Castel is taking part and will be representing Northern Ireland on this fantastic show.
The chefs' creations must fit the theme of 'a Taste of Summer' which encourages them to reflect the taste, smells and colours of the season.
Joery Castel: " The Great British Menu kitchen is by far the hardest kitchen I have ever worked in. The competition is extremely hard but also a lot of fun. I feel very proud to have been picked to represent Northern Ireland!"
